Even though it was bittersweet, The Matches final show was one of the best times I've ever had. It was amazing to be right up front singing along one last time. So thanks to you guys again.
I sincerely hope you'll still update this blog now and again though. I always enjoy reading things from your unique perspective.

Please don't stop updating the blog, I don't think that anyone wants that. Some of my favourite blogs are the ones that have nothing whatsoever to do with the Matches, but the ones that let me look at life from a different perspective. Or, if you can't update here, please start a new blog that has nothing to do with your side projects, but a personal blog, because that would be awesome beyond words.

BUT. maniac sounds promising, and Jake is such a rad guy. and fantastic dancer.
I still am crushed that the Matches won't be making any more music together. From the recent interviews, it really seems like the end now and not a hiatus. Nevertheless, i am glad you guys are still pursuing music. Maniac is absolutely amazing and once again, like everytime the Matches release a new album, you've shown me a new side of music I've never heard.
Thanks so much for all the songs that meant the world to me, and super good luck to you and Jake. Good luck with your art as well!
