Funny story.
At a show from the recent Aust. tour (Adelaide) some friends and i were waiting at the stage before the support bands went on. I turned around only to scope a man dressed in red holding a hot pink coffee cup, drinking tea standing right in front of me. It was none other that The D Man chillin' before the show.
Surprised we knew who he was, some awkward conversation about the weather and his experiences in Aust. followed. By this time his tea was cold and he had to leave.

i think dylan is a smarmy little boy, but he's got a lot of spunk and he's not a bad bassist... thus i give him my kudos.
I apologize for not practicing what I preach, but you see, Ms.Bridges, what you write DOES concern me when you call me out as you just did, ESPECIALLY when I did not necessarily call you out. I was speaking not to you, but to the other people who post here because they want to respond to what Shawn has written, and not have to read your irrelevant, attacking rants.
I suggest you e-mail him with your concerns, you're likely to get a lot less shit, and you just might get an answer.

i realize that it must be difficult to put names to faces, and faces to personalities, so i need to say thanks (from all listeners blessed with the music) for not only coming to columbus, but playing a very short and dearly loved acoustic set.

By the way, Dylan fits right in, and he seems to be a really great guy. Hope for more good conversations in the future. (We did make it to the show in PA, despite setbacks)

Had the pleasure of meeting young Dylan on Sat. in Columbus. My conclusions? Great on stage, good taste in books (Survivor=win), snazzy dresser, good hair...lol. Annnd he liked my silly monster toys. Dylan is a doll. I wholeheartedly approve. :)
Yes, Dylan is definately a great addition to the band! He's sweet, silly, talented, & adorable. I am looking forward to getting to know him better in the future! I could be slightly biased due to the fact that he's from Tennessee, but still...
Of course, if we're talking about people in the band with great taste in books, Shawn's own taste tears me to bits. He understands words and the books I've read that I know he likes always leave me a little speechless because they are so well-written.
things don't generally go THREW my head, but I think it is in your best interest to let it be, for God's sake. Shut up. let bygones be bygones. And let me just say Dylan is an excellent, maneuverable force of reckoning, and I couldn't of picked a more suited bassist unless it was me.
