this just reminded me of something that happened a few years ago:
my mother and i pulled up to pay at a coffee shop drive-thru and the girl looked so confused. she said "this may sound weird, but the people who were in front of you paid for your order...they said it was this new good deed thing they were trying."
so we paid for the people behind us...making the girl even more confused.

i've always wondered if people after us continued it.

I'm still working on my own... I want it to be original-ish. Hopefully, an idea will spark soon.

Hahaha, Heather, my Mom's friend does that all the time just to spread some joy, she loves seeing the peoples reaction in the rear view mirror. I have yet to do it though :( i don't go through drive throughs very often, it hurts the environment >:(.

heather's comment reminded me of this story:

" A customer in a South Florida drive-through paid the bill for the customer behind him on Thursday, and the chain continued throughout the day"

Recently had an epiphany* of sorts, and finally decided on a career rather than a just-a-job: i'm gonna devote my life to taking care of animals.
I'm gonna do good deeds for the rest of my days and eventually earn some money for it.

It's still unlikely i'll be able to afford my own house til i'm about 43, so while i'm young i'll spend my money on Matches albums. And maybe a t-shirt.

*really i just got two kittens a few months ago and realised the other night the depth of my love for them. was a beautiful moment.

School starts up for me on Monday...
Good deeds will start then... Because I'll be out of my house...
And will have newbies to take care of.
Hopefully, I can do a good deed, hand them one of my many A Band In Hope stickers, and catch all this on camera. =^]

I guess I could do a good deed even if I bought the record.
But I did interestingly enough, encourage three of my friends to burn from it.
So I guess I should do a good deed.
Hard to believe Dave Grohl has that much hair.
'Tis possible, eh?

I don't even have hair anymore because of this.
I just gotta make my video of mailing in said hair I once had.

More bands should be like you guys. It makes my heart swell. I bought the cd and burned it for my boyfriend to entice him to come to your shows with me. I'm going to try to encourage him to make a payment. :)

I’ll do a good deed even though buying the album as a birthday gift to my mom ought to count as a part payment (she was delighted, by the way) and buying it to myself would technically make us even. Though if we look past technicalities it’s something free for something free, right? Well, then I still owe you. I did download the leaked version after all. Now I just need an idea that won’t consume what little money I have. Hm, this might take some time.
