Just go to your blog's basic settings, and switch the "show email links", and/or "show quick editing" to off. Otherwise, I think it's just your layout doing it. Hope that helps!

i check in study hall and spanish for todays clue and then i sat at my computer for a long time refreshing the page and the i went to the chiropractor and then i got home and it still wasn't up so i threw in the towel to watch The Show Must Go Off which only just got here today. i was so excited when i opened my mailbox and there it was staring at me. getting mail (that isn't from a random college/university) is the best feeling in the world. i guess that makes me simple...haha! anyways, i was done watching that (i love you all talking over each other on the commentary) i refreshed and got nothing, then went to the main page and realized id been refreshing the link to the epitaph bulletin for hours and not the main page. ugh...stupid
i talk too much but id like to say that the envelope has been swollen for weeks...i assume the site will fix it soon because i think i remember it happening before

I'm no expert, but i think the problem may be with some http formatting gone wrong. If there was a tag left open somewhere that dictated the height and width of a picture it would affect the other pictures on the page, including the grossly swollen 'send to' envelope.
I looked back at the entries and it seems to have started somewhere between "Y" and "Git Low".
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that sees the large envelopes.
I thought my computer was just being stupid.

Everyone seems so worried about the poor little fat icons. Just turn them over every once in a while so they don't get bed sores. Schedule a gastric bypass surgery, and after its complete, 60 min of exercise a day and a healthy diet. Then some plastic surgery to get rid of all that excess skin and, voila!
They will be back to their normal slim selves in no time.

I didn't really understand that last comment... but just to clear things up, Bob Barker said "remember to get your pets spayed or neutered" at the end of every the price is right episode. I guess you can consider it one of his MANY catch phrases. I don't think some of the people here even have a clue as to who Bob Barker is. If you don't you missed out on some good quality TV!
Thanks to Dani, just knowing that I know who Bob Barker is and have gotten all the jokes (not necessarily thought they were funny but got them) on this post and it's comments makes me feel smarter than I thought I was today.
...I feel stupid because I wrote 7 more pages of GOLD to a story for one of my classes... and sent it to myself so I could finish this 10 page story (that I could have just left at 2 pages if I wanted to be lazy like the rest of my class) and now... I only have the 3 pages I started yesterday. -.-

okay- so today I don't have a blog post, because all I have are QUESTIONS, and questions that it seems you all have the answers to! Share!
So the contest has rendered clues pretty much obsolete, because every time a pic is put up, EVERY track name on the album is guessed! I barely know what all of the new songs are called yet!! What is going ON?! AND
who knows what time exactly absolutepunk is putting up my photos, because really, today I tried to win, and I was beat by about 8 posts.
So what I really want to know is-- do you guys really NEED us to write songs?--because if you're so psychic, you should be able to guess which notes we might use in succession and beat us to the recording part of the record as well!

It's ridiculous! Everyone seems to just sits at their computer with or without their drink/food of choice and hits refresh until the new clue comes up. The Wake the Sun one surprised me a little though. There were a tentative list of titles, and I don't believe that was one of them, unless I'm wrong. I mean, the picture wasn't too hard to figure out, but still!
It's kind of sweet in a way. To see that kind of devotion. I'm determined to do the same today, since I'll definitely be home, and win one of these damn things (maybe i'll get lucky and refresh on the split second that it was posted)!

yeah, i'm hardly psychic. haha i like to believe my win was a fluke. i just so happened to stumble upon the thread before anyone posted anything, and apparently AP put up the wrong photo, and i guessed correctly first, then they took down the whole thread. i thought my win would be torn from my grasp, but they gave it to me and the person who guessed the real picture. so i guess luck was on my side that day... i thought i wouldn't have a chance to win any of these.

In correspondance to your questions on how people know the titles of your songs.. it's easy. I was getting frustrated too on how quickly people were guessing the title tracks, yet this was meant to be a fun venture. But people were doing dirty work, and they were looking up the track lists for it on random websites where you pre-order it. So, I had no chance of winning, surely that dirty work must be undone?
