crows, linked at wing

shuffle dip bobbed amid staging

still. then spun the direction of clocks

revealing, revealing a grinning Guy Fawkes

noise was had by one

and all

Happy Hallows and Hollows.

i wish i could have gone, alas, i live in canada.
i love those masks i hope you all had fun last night i wish i could have went i hate the damn distance
Happy Halloween to you too!
those are soo sick i just got my new costume for an awesome night.. a giant chicken. but the crows are killer!! same here i wish i didnt live in canada so i could have gone to that show!!
Very nice!
Happy Old Hallows Eve to you too.
Wish I could have been there. I think you should do something for the east coast people... just an idea.
I am absolutely in one of those pictures. Wicked.
I have to say, last night's show was thoroughly amazing in just about every way, barring the not-so-wise choice of tables in front of the stage. Bruises and battle scars aside, it'll go down as one of the best shows of my year, at least.
wow. last night was amazing.
i just got home from the drive back to los angeles!!
looks fun.
im jealous.
I must say Shawn I did rather love your dashing Pillow case cape. When I saw that I couldnt help but smile.
Though even though the show was amazing I think one of my fondest memories was walking out (dressed as Margot Tenenbaum mind you) I ran into the whole Life Aquatic. & We rejoyced as a true Wes Anderson family should.
I have to say Margot was not the best costume choice on my part, faux furcoats in crowed = not so much fun. & yet I loved every moment of it because I was having a fantastic time.
& I didnt manage to deliver my letter to miles which constit of a doodle of a cupcake with braces. & the fact that inside it talks how my mother finds him rather good looking. Keep in mind she determined this by the picture of his bloody forehead on here.
All I can say next show at home, you never know there might be some christmas spirit.
This is getting out of hand on my part.
happy halloween, shawn!
I wish I had even half your imagination when planning my costume this year

Hahah, that was a brilliant idea. Love the movie.
Nice costumes. I did hear someone say though that they were only the second best costumes there. Something about two girls dressed as "80's Dance Party USA"... I don't know, just saying.
that kicks ass
im a pirate this year....again
oh Guy Fawkes... the fifth of november is coming up =]
but until then, halloween should be some good fun
have a good one
the east cost awaits your return
You're show was absolutely amazing, came home from the mosh with a slightly bruised back and face from when you threw your crow mask at my head. (everyone wanted your sweat) but I can't wait til your next home show :)
What is this trend in the San Francisco/Oakland/Bay Area of putting tables in front of a stage to act as barriers? That's just so...odd. and seemingly painful.
wicked.
dude, those masks are awesome!
I bet that was a great show
my birthday's in two days!
very clever costumes =) i likeee.
man i wish i could have gone =/ but living in the damn suburbs of east bum-f*** cultural-wasteland Massachusetts WAYYYYYYY the hell over on the other side of the country...well...it doesn't help. haha.
come visit soon! =( i miss you guys and your wonderfulnesssss.
<3
Fantastic!
That first photo; it'd be awesome if you could post a scan of that, so that we die-hard matches fans can print out our own guy fawks / matches masks...
I curse the fact I live in the uk. It goes without saying that I really wish I could have been there.
Can't wait to see you on November 18th!
I spy Lauren!
i am still fuzzy headed and throat sore from screaming out lyrics. the matches... *sigh* it's them that i love...
tooo brilliant!! im so jealous of everyone who was there.
My thanks for yet another wonderful show and evening.
If you're interested in more pictures, I'd be happy to send some your way.
I think I would have given my left arm to be there.
Not my right. It's kind of important art-wise.
But definitely my left.
Ya know, I was actually heavily considering going to Hell3 this year and ended up going to the Phenomenauts Zombie party instead. (Its fine Phenomenauts tradition ya know). If I had known Hell3 was ending and the Zombie party was starting I would have gone to both.
If only.
Nice masks. I love it. I'm going as Edward Scissorhands this year. I'm excited. Never to old to dress up and get free candy eh?
Normally I don't use slang...but that's so fucking sick. V is one of my favorite movies and...just wow. No quirky comebacks, I'm in awe.
-D
I though it out logically. Saturday is number 4 on my list of the most fun musical events I have ever attended.
Damn, three days in a row was so great. Despite a few minor things, it was amazing.
I really love everything you did with the V masks...or actually just everything? You decide.
♥ V
Damn you Americans and your wonderful Halloween traditions.
Why am I Australian....WHY. Attempt to celebrate halloween here and the most likely outcome is you will be arrested. good times.
Those costumes are rather spectacular. Very suave.
I adore those masks!
What a wonderful idea for costumes. If only I could have been there.
Hell 3 was great, you guys were awesome.
u write so poetically.
im mimicing u for my college essay.
and it was an amazing show...i think. i was pretty drunk and don't remember much, but i'm never getting drunk at one of your shows again, it's something too good to impare.
*sigh*
Yet another time I hate living on more southern east coast.
All the fun stuff is in Cali or New York.
Not North Carolina.
I say for Christmas you play in Nashville (I know, not North Carolina, it's Tennessee... but I'll be in Hopkinsville during Christmas break and Nashville is a big town where I have a cousin that will take me pretty much anywhere =^]) and since it's Christmas you could dress up like Santa (well... any of you could dress as Santa... personally I think Matt would be best since he sits behind the drums most the time... and Santa sits all the time...) and the rest could dress as elves (thats sexy right there...mmmhmmm) and you could play December Is For Cynics (just a suggestion) and we could all have a good ol' time... a very Merry Christmas. =^]
But this is all just a hopeless fan's suggestion.
BTW- the Grande Ole Oprey is gorgeous at Christmas time. =^]
wow, that was an INCREDIBLE show. i can see my best friend in one of the pictures, and i can see just where i was, but im cut out.
loved the pillowcase cape. and the belt. and everything. best concert hands down. amazingly amazing. i cant wait til december 22, im buying tickets as soon as i can. i will go to every show i possibly can, seriously.
oh, and i hope you liked the bracelets...
<3
I loved the costumes and the show. I was the girl from Candy Land and you made my night, really my month. Keep on being an amazing inspirational indiviual.
