The fans just keep getting younger and younger, eh? Next they'll be singing your tunes within the uterus.

But seriously, those videos were quite cute.

kids know whats right! my baby cousin Geneveve was fussy so i sang Salty Eyes to her and she giggled and then fell asleep (i dont speak baby but i think thats a good thing). Her old brothers and sister also love the insurance triangle dance video and we always do the same thing (i play the part of matt because my dance moves are criminally idiotic)(they mosh like crazy too...ive had insane bruises from those little rascals). im their only source of good music i think...dont worry, ill feed them on the matches goodness

WOW!!! they had an intense fascination with Justin. More specifically Justin dropping the TV on his foot! haha At some points I think they forgot all your names and just started to call you all Justin. Nonetheless, they were quite adorable and some pretty rad fans.

haha my 2 year old adores you guys, even though most of the time when she listens to it we're in the car...and she falls asleep..but i'm going to say she falls asleep because she's in the car, not because of you guys. but haha, she loves HER matcheys (she wins that battle all the time), mostly jon when he had big hair though. and she thinks you're johnny depp, she grabs your picture off my dresser and goes "arrrrgg"

the only thing I wish was that you guys had onesies when she was little. *shrug* maybe next time haha.

Kid's got your fashion sense down to a T, there, Shawn...stripes and all.
Pity, I have no young'uns near me to corrupt into Matches fandom...however, my little sister has been working on a mean karaoke rendition of "To Build A Mountain." Have to see if I can get that on tape.

"And what are you drawing?"
"I'm drawing a picture of your favourite boy!"

That's probably the best picture I've ever seen. Don't you have a pair of pants exactly like that?

I tried to influence my half-sister to listen to you guys. She didn't like it and her mom made me turn it off. No taste, I guess.

That kid (or those kids) is (are my hero(s).
And they have a lot of competition from other little kids who order green apple ice cream with peanut butter in it and eat it all.

idk y i couldnt comment this but ive been trying 2 say i love that one girl's reasoning about y the tv made justin's feet burnt. shes so convincing 2.

well, the tv got hit by the sun and justin dropped the tv on his foot so the tv hurt his foot.

i woulda believed her. shed be a good lawyer.

In the past few days at warped, I've heard a couple tales of toddlers rocking karaoke to our music. Gotta get that youtubed and post it on here. Kids are little people who haven't lost the magic yet. Adults who have a spark left are just the ones who managed not to unlearn everything important in school.

i totally agree.

kids are true punks. they are carefree and completely unrestricted by the barriers of society. they do w.e they want and care about nothing. its gr8. if only adults and teens could be like that 2.

im not saying no order. i mean be themselves, not worrying about what every1 thinx of u.

Warning, this is going to be really long. I have a few videos of my niece Bree that I uploaded. Here's a quick back story. Jessica and I were at my sister's house a few months ago and every time Jessica's phone rang Bree would get really excited. My Soft and Deep was the song. She has the whole song on her phone so we played it. She loved it, so we decided to tape her reaction. **sound system courtesy of Jessica's cell phone**

Video #1
She hasn't quite grasped the English language but she mumbles the same thing every time she hears the song, so it must be her own version. Here she sings a bit, then grabs the phone and dances and runs circles around me.
ONE

Video #2
She finds another Matches song on the phone. She believes you guys are singing through the phone and attempts to talk to you. TWO

Video #3
She replays My Soft and Deep, dances a bit. We tried to see if her sister Belle wanted to join in... not so much, as she takes off when she finally realizes she's being taped. THREE

Video #4
Just a quick one with some head bobbing. lol FOUR

So, I warned you this was long. Sorry about the quality, I'm too busy to edit the videos. She was only about 15 months old when we shot these, her love and skills have grown since. I will try to see if she's up for another round.

my 18 month old daughter has heard your music very frequently (as in nearly every day for several weeks at a time) since being in utero, so she's quite fond of you boys and your music. salty eyes has been a fave since hearing it for the first time after leaving our local music store and popping it into my cd player in the car last year... it seems to calm her down enough in the car to go to sleep, so i use it at night as a lullaby and it's definitely her favourite. anyways..one day i run into the living room after hearing the opening notes to salty eyes and find her frozen stiff infront of the tube, obviously awe struck as well as perplexed. typically she pays no attention to the tv unless barney or elmo is on the screen..but she will actually sit still long enough to watch your video! this is definitely a rare occurance, well worth recording. :) this is the crappier of the two, i'll try to get the other one on after my camera/computer are done being dysfunctional. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3yTEwxCAVg
