I think perhaps you may be a walking cartoon. The first picture reminded me of Brendon from Home Movies.

Creeptastic.

Does Ben babysit? He looks like he'd be great with kids.

Tell me this is a subtle hint you guys will be tourmates sometime in the near future.

Nice Stanfields! Unique, and somehow strangely "you".

For 7 months out of the year, they are actually necessary where I live.

I plan on contacting the company, and suggesting they get in touch with you about modelling for the next billboard...an improvement over the big scowly lumberjack currently gracing the one at the edge of town here.

You guys look as though you're having fun wearing them, whereas Mr. Lumberjack looks like he's having a bowel movement in his.

You really should wear those when you play Warped in Barrie this August. Given the weather in this neck of the woods, you may need them.

Thanks for making me laugh...again.

I have to say, that is just the best looking family that I have ever seen!! I really think that you have one of the best personalities of anyone that I have ever met. You would just be so much fun to hang out with!

...I should amend my last post with "tourmates again in the near future" as I don't want to sound clueless and (gasp!) ignorant to anyone who may be reading this.

Want a measure of how hysterical these pictures are?
I checked your blog in school today, and guffawed so loud that the entire computer lab stared at me, astounded. They are very amusing. (Although, half my school may now think I'm insane because of them...)

I too had the luxury of looking at these during my ComTech class, completely unaware that my teacher was watching my screen from his computer. That was awkward. Extremely. Sentence Fragments. Justin without 'The Hair is rather odd. Love the footie pajamas.

I think Ben looks more like the God Father. Not as in the mob, but maybe that creepy friend from the dad's adolescent time that never really got a clue. You know, the one who is climbing into the 40's thinking they can still get the high school girls.

Blogger jjjjeeennna said...

hahahahaha. You make footie pjs look damn good. And ben is bringing white trash back. These should be painted in oil paints and put in a gigantic golden frame like an 18th century family portrait and hung up next to a painting of the royal family at the Guggenheim or something.

Loving the blog Shawn.
Just wanted you to know that I told a friend about The Matches. She told her friend about The Matches. Where it went from there, I don't know, but a week later, someone asked me if I had ever heard of The Matches. So the circle is complete.

I especially love the part where Justin decides to wear an Aloha shirt. Mmm. Classy. Reminds me of home. No words [even with the help of dictionary AND thesaurus.com] can truly express what I am thinking about this picture or those sideburns... or those PJs... or anything else at that matter. My oh my, Shawn... you certainly do know how to entertain... Haha.
